The MX-28 S Midi patchbay is an ideal routing system for small systems, or expander unit for medium to large sized systems.Transpose – This allows a user to transpose up 63 or down 64 semitones.Mapping – This allows a user to select key ranges within MIDI channels.Compander – This allows a user to select different compression ratios such as (1:0.75 1:0.50 10.25).Filters – This allows a user to filter certain MIDI messages including Note On/Off, After touch, Control Change, Program Change, Pitch Bend, System Common/Exclusive, and System Realtime messages.It has 6 MIDI inputs, 8 MIDI outputs and a foot switch jack and is a 1u rack unit. A MIDI merger and patchbay with MIDI expression capabilities for the ARKeytar Arduino MIDI controller or other devices, based on Mega 2560.Velocity Cross Switch – This allows a user to specify a threshold for key on velocity, when reached, selects an alternate MIDI channel. Channel Shift – This allows a user to select between two modes: offset and reassign.
In offset each channel will increase by the offset amount. You can plug in a footswitch(not included) into the Foot switch jack to step throught the setups in either direction.Using the Reset key sends an All-Notes-Off messagesto every output on every channel.MIDI Digital Delay – This allows a user to select the number of delay repeats and the velocity that each repeat will be offset.In reassign mode, data from a selected channel is redirected to a different channel.
